The Sims 4 has been out for a few years now but it has been missing something which most fans have been complaining of since its release and that is toddlers. Yeah that's right, Maxis has finally released a new update for The sims 4 that has toddlers and it is going to be free as well. According to a Sims website, Executive producer Lyndsay Pearson has this to say:

"I'm not exaggerating when I say we've been talking about this particular update for years, We just had to find the right time, resources, and design to allow us to start the heavy process of actually building and bringing toddlers to life. And believe me when I say it has been really really difficult to not talk about this as we worked to get it right. Toddlers is something that has been in the works for a while, and I am really proud of the work that the team has put in to creating these adorable little Sims, I think you're really going to love how interactive they are, so get ready for a lot of cute, heartwarming moments as your Sims help their toddlers to develop new skills through using flash cards; teach them to talk; have a dance party; and encourage them to go potty. Your Sims can also bond with your toddler by reading them to sleep, carrying them around the house, or babbling away about trucks."

EA describes this update as the biggest update yet in The Sims 4. Originally, both pools and toddlers were highly requested for in the game but in November 2014, the pool update was released for the game which was also free as well.

This is indeed a happy week for The sims fans as the game is getting not only the toddler update but The Sims 4 Vampire pack was also announced as well would be coming out January 24 and it is going to bring in new contents like a new world, vampire traits, new abilities and more.
